Who I am

I am a passionate training professional with over 25 years of experience in learning and development, having worked internally for some of the most respected Fortune 500 companies in the U.S., including Levi Strauss & Co., The Clorox Company, Williams-Sonoma, Inc. and AECOM.
 

In 2010, I started CMC on a part-time basis in San Francisco to help a friend at a well-known spirits company develop an “effective interviewing” training program. Increased client demand allowed me to take my business full time in 2014. Several years later, I relocated to downtown Seattle in 2018.
 

I am proud of my excellent record of client satisfaction and repeat business. (Read testimonials here.) My success to date can be attributed to my unmatched passion for developing others, my extensive training background, my empathy skills, and ability to build trust quickly. It truly gives me enormous satisfaction and pride to be able to help others succeed. It surprises no one when they learn that I’ve wanted to be a teacher since I was 10 years old!

My focus

I have helped thousands of managers and employees improve their performance, knowledge, and confidence in two main areas:
 

  • People manager development (for any type of supervisor) – including skills such as engaging employees, giving feedback, coaching, delegating, praising, developing, managing conflict, building trust, and more.
         

  • Specific professional business skills (for all employees) – including improved productivity, grit, emotional intelligence, influence, change management, credibility, decision-making, business communication, and more.

My diverse client base is comprised of companies both big and small -- from a renowned Silicon Valley high-tech company all the way to a family-owned dentistry practice in San Francisco. Here are just some of the ways I typically help my valued customers:  
 

  • Facilitate high impact, research-based training workshops ranging from one-hour sessions to two day "off-sites" on key professional skills.

  • Deliver skill-boosting virtual training sessions for employees all over the world.
